We're sure you were already wondering if somebody could bring trance back. Well, you get lucky. The two godfathers of Cologne techno reunited after (!) 11 years to do it again. After bringing trance back to Las Vegas in 1996 on the legendary EMI hippy offshoot Harvest (Pink Floyd et al), they did their share to re-invent techno and establish one of the world's biggest hubs for electronic music. No wonder it took them such a long time to continue their remarkable collaboration. „Bring trance back" updates their trademark glam techno style for the 00's dancefloors. Decorated with a flashy western slide guitar both tracks do a proper primetime job. The flickering, elegant groove is outstanding, the tension is incredible. On a personal note: We'd prefer to see Burger/Voigt on tour agian, rather than Genesis or The Police. And we're eagerly looking forward to the release of the new Burger/Voigt album in early 2008!
