Straight off the heels of his highly successful Bird Brain album teaser tracks, “Aundy” and “Beat That Bird” comes the definitive Claude VonStroke record everyone has been waiting for. The “A” side is classic genius CVS at work. He constructs a mad vocal pattern up and down through 4 octaves and all the vowel sounds of the live human voice. Then he creates a “chord” out of the notes all coming together for en even bigger surprise in the 2nd half. This track is quite simply unique. There is nothing else like it. The b-side resembles the freaky side of CVS harking back to the tech funk sound of tracks like “Chimps.” This time Claude makes an ultra-wide filter sweep sound like a pair of humongous tits bouncing up and down on a trampoline. The boob jokes are there but the track is so filthy dirty it’s hard to even find time to chuckle. Claude VonStroke’s full album, “Bird Brain” is out October 19th, 2009 on cd and digital.
