With our ten year anniversary firmly behind us,Dumb Unit continues unabated into the future! The family has grown larger but our vision remains the same; to bring the world stimulating music for the dance-floor and beyond. This season, we present DUMB UNIT DYNASTY, a special year- long focus on our tight-knit DU family. In addition to our regular output, a number of special releases are planned. The first, Dynasty EP 1 showcases 3 superb tracks by the Dumb Unit crew. Vanitas, by Jeremy P Caulfield & Seph, is a gentle storm of synths and percussion that grows larger note by note. Embracing the strengths and skills of both producers, it manages to sound like nothing they've ever done before; a true testament to the power of collaboration. Next up is Pherox's rework of Chase's Dream by Agaric & Walker. Taking one of this summers smarter hits into new darker places Pherox delivers a 10 minute opus to the original that shines from beginning to end. Pablo Denegri's fabulous Olga, a classic track that finally sees the light of day, rounds up the package. Deserving of the full love Jeremy has given it for some time now it is a deep ,dark lullaby that is both powerful and persuasive. A beacon of well defined sound design. All in all Dumb Unit's Dynasty EP 1 is a definitive package showcasing both the diverse talent of a label and subsequently proving that, once again, the unit still has what it takes.
