Discovered by Philadelphia's own NBA New York Knick legend Earl "The Pearl" Monroe Fantasy started his career with a bang. At the age of 17 he signed his group Citi Heet to Pretty Pearl Records, singing on and producing his 1985 hit "Begging Billy". The success of this record catapulted him into his solo career.

In the 90's Fantasy became a stable fixture among the New York City club scene. Performing as well as hosting countless shows and events, his love for house music lead him to pioneer a dance movement in New York City called Black Ball. It became the premier venue for djs and artists in the golden era of early house music. During this time he worked with and helped establish the careers of such people as Dj Moby, Dj Disciple, Dj Camcho, Bobby Konders, Andre Collins, Basil, John Robinson Gary Michael Wade, Althea McQueen and many more.

In 1995 his vocal styling achieved international acclaim in Japan. He produced the chart topping EP "Drop Zone" premiering Kim Lightfoot on the mix. He went on to team up with Eightball Records founder Smash Hunter putting his incredible vocal talent to work on the EP "Lost" (Headshock featuring Fantasy) topping the London's charts 4 straight weeks at # 1 in the UK publication Straight No Chaser. He went on to produce several more releases with similar results.

This artist dynamic presence and vocal style made him a headliner on tours and at major venues. Known to perform both live with musicians and to backing tracks his engagements included Incognito (NYC), The Shelter (NYC), Giant Steps (NYC), The Loft (NYC), Black Box (NJ), Club House Jamboree (Brooklyn), Tunnel (NYC), Union SQ (85 NYC), Nell's (NYC), Fat Black Pussy Cat (MIA), The Jazzamatazz Tour, Digable Planets to mention a few.

As the dawn of a new era began Y2K marked the passing of the torch as Fantasy made way for Dee Jay Pham. Shutting down his production in Brooklyn he moved to Philadelphia along with his wife and expanded his family. It wasn't long before he relaunched Black Ball Productions and his new persona Dee Jay Pham. Taking the city by storm he has made his presence felt producing hundreds of mix tapes, directing music videos, producing tours and artist showcases along the East Coast but that's another bio.

Now at the age of 44, through the power of the internet a new fan base has discovered his music. Vintage video footage has surfaced of Creation featuring Fantasy. This has led producers and record labels to seek him out to record new music and to perform. Heeding the call Fantasy has returned with amazing pair of deep house magic ("Deep" and "Reach Out") on Traveller Records, Finland.

2011 -the year of Fantasy.
