M-Plant's Perpetual Masters series continues throughout 2026. Robert Hood's "The Metronome" distils techno to its barest, most hypnotic pulse. Over the two tracks, Hood strips rhythm down to ticking hi-hats, lean kicks and looping motifs that feel mechanical yet human. The grooves are relentless but never cold, building tension through subtle shifts instead of excess.
